If I wanted to advance my ignition by 3 degrees I have to buy a dyno jet ignition module to connect to my pc3 at about the whole cost of this entire setup. I have a pc3 on my bike and have done some home and minimal dyno tuning and I can tell you just cause the bikes been dyno tuned does not mean it is setup perfectly for the street. Having that data and the ability to change ECU fuel map and ignition timing maps would give you the same tuning capability as pro circuit racing teams.
From what I have read you are better using a wide band a/f data logger than a dyno so you can take the real world numbers and tune accordingly.Ī dyno tune is a simulation and not a very good one at that, tuning with a data logger tells you what is really happening when you are actually riding the bike.
